Appraisers Now Ltd. (“Appraisers Now”/“we”/”us”) makes the website, and all subdomains (the “Website”), available together with our services as further described in our Terms & Conditions (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use and distribute information about our users through the Website and Services and applies to information we collect on the Website, through our Services, or in communication with us.

You may withdraw your consent to our processing of your Personal Information at any time. However, withdrawing consent may result in your inability to continue using the Website and/or the Services. Children Under the Age of 18

Our Website and Services are not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 may provide any personal information to or on the Website or through our Services. For Users, we collect information related to appraisal designations, performance and usage statistics, and language preferences and for Properties/Appraisals, we collect information on the property and location information, and client/requestor information.
  • Internet or other similar network activity. For example, browsing history, search history, personal social media activity, personal email, online transactions, information on a consumer’s interaction with a website, application, or advertisement.
  • Geolocation data. For example, physical location or movements.
  • Sensory data. For example, audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information.

We collect this information:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us.
  • Automatically as you navigate through the Website or our Services. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and other information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.
  • From third parties, for example, our business partners.

As you navigate through and interact with our Website and Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns. We may use cookies and clear gifs to track content usage and traffic on the Website. A cookie is a feature of your web browser that consists of a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web server. A clear gif is similar to a cookie; however, it is embedded in website pages rather than on the user’s hard drive. The Website uses cookies and clear gifs to help it compile aggregate statistics about usage of this Website, such as how many users visit the Website, how long users spend viewing the Website, and what pages are viewed most often. This information is used to improve the content of the Website. You can set your browser to notify you when you are sent a cookie. This gives you the chance to decide whether or not to accept it. If you disable cookies, you may not be able to take advantage of all the features of the Website. Clear gifs are also used by us in emails to help us understand which emails are opened by recipients.

Once we receive your request and confirm your identity, we will review your request to see if an exception allowing us to retain the information applies. We may deny your deletion request under certain circumstances.

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request to know or delete related to your personal information. To designate an authorized agent, please provide us with written authorization of the same.

You do not need to create an account with us to submit a request to know or delete. However, we do consider requests made through your password protected account sufficiently verified when the request relates to personal information associated with that specific account. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under the law.

Other California Privacy Rights

California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our Website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
